| Nature - Chinese Painting by Sim Seng Chuan From April to June 09 (3 Months/ 12 Lessons) Saturday: 11am – 12.30pm (Sunday) Course Fee : S$200/- per Month of 4 lessons each (Including basic Materials) Chinese Painting is one of the Chinese Culture Appreciations. There is an increase of people who have been learning Chinese Painting in the recent years. These learners have attained a higher level of creativity in their lives, careers and learning paths. The outline of this course is specially designed for those who are interested in Eastern drawings. This course will teach about basic technique and how to use of Chinese painting material. The important of calligraphy and how to use Chinese seal in a piece of painting.
About the Artist Sim Seng Chuan is a very well trained Chinese Painting & Calligraphy instructor with more than 10 years of experience. He teaches in numerous school in Singapore such as Nan Hua Secondary School. He is also in the Art Education Program for School Teacher to train teacher to be more proficient in Chinese Painting & Culture so that they can share their experience with their students. He had won many awards and currently he is the Chairman for Hougang CC Art Club. *conducted various classes and course for teachers for their industrial attachment leave.
